<p>Maudie Lee Murphy (74) passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home in Fridley on Tuesday, September 14th. She is survived by children, Crystal Kovach and James Bray and grandchildren, Logan (12), James (12), Jacob (10), and Jase (5). She was born April 25th 1947 in Kenton, Kentucky, and later followed love to Moline, Illinois where she started a family with former husband, Jim Bray. After retiring from the University of Minnesota, she spent her time enjoying her beloved pets, making jewelry, and staying in touch with her friends both near and far; including persons from Spring Meadows, Grace Baptist, and Woodcrest Baptist. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 9/18 at 11am at Woodcrest Baptist Church, 6875 University Ave NE, Fridley MN.
