John Schreurs, age 58, of Watertown, SD passed away on September 16, 2021 at Prairie Lakes Hospital. There will be no public service at this time. John Joseph Schreurs was born on May 30, 1963 in Watertown, South Dakota to Robert and JoAnne (Brage) Schreurs. He grew up in the Watertown area graduating from Watertown High School. He managed the Harbor Bar in Watertown for many years. John moved to Montevideo and was employed at Friendship Homes and then later moved back to Watertown where he worked for Superior Homes for several years before starting employment at Terex. John is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Crandall of Denver, CO; his brother, David (Kelly) Schreurs of Hayti, SD; his sister-in-law, Michelle Schreurs of Oceanside, CA; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Dale and Mike; his sister, Judy; and his step-mother, Lottie. Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel is serving the family. www.wightandcomes.com.
