Ms. Kellsey Vanisha McMillan Obituary

Ms. Kellsey V. McMillan, 25 of Durham, NC peacefully passed on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  Funeral service will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2917 E. Great Marsh Church Rd., St. Pauls, NC.   Viewing: Saturday 1-5 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial:  McMillan Cemetery, 2791 E. Great Marsh Church Rd., St. Pauls, NC

Kellsey Vanisha McMillan closed the curtain of this journey called life on September 15, 2021.  Kellsey's journey began on April 5, 1996 to Anesia McMillan and Anthony Lewis.

She graduated from St. Pauls High School.  She later attended Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, North Carolina.  Kellsey attended Life Center International, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kellsey worked several years for Step By Step Daycare, Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was currently employed with Amazon Distribution, Durham, North Carolina.

Those left to celebrate her life and cherish her memories are: mother, Anesia Mcmillan of St. Pauls, North Carolina; father, Anothony Lewis (Victoria) of St. Pauls, North Carolina; brother, Bryclyn McMillan of St. Pauls, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Ann McMillan of St. Pauls, North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Bobie Ann Lewis of Lumberton, North Carolina; uncles, Carl Lewis and Tony Lewis (Demetus); aunt, Rhonda Freeman of Lumberton, North Carolina; special aunt, Kimberly McMillan of St. Pauls, North Carolina; two special cousins, Kirkland King and Laila King both of Charlotte, North Carolina; special nephew, Kashton McMillan; special friend, Wayne Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kellsey touched the lives of all she met.  She will be remembered for her big heart and bright smile.

Kellsey's greatest joy was her nephew Kashton.

Kekksey was preceded in death by grandfather, Jerry McMillan "Rock", and cousin, Hiriam McMillan "WeeTee".
