Delores June Richardson

Delores June Bass "PETE" Brown Richardson "Pete" was born in West Virginia to Clyde and Gertrude Bass, both deceased. She grew up in Portsmouth, Va and raised her family in Chesapeake, Va. She is survived by three daughters; Wendy L Lassiter (Al), Cathy McLaen (Pat), and Robin Worrell, two grandsons; Justin Lassiter and Hayden McLaen, and three granddaughters, Jessika Lassiter, Haley McLaen and Halsey Mclaen and her little great grandson/ buddy Kaidyn Lassiter. Pete is also survived by five siblings; Gloria Kincaid (Mac), Betty Smith, Peggy Shayewitz (Fred), Sandra Felton, and Eddie Bass. Pete was an avid Bingo fan alongside of her best friend of over 40 years, Nancy Pierce. She loved gardening and was an awesome cook. For many years everyone would go to "Grandma's or Aunt Pete's" to enjoy her cooking at Thanksgiving and Christmas where there was always an abundant spread set out for whosoever would come. Pete will be missed but forever in our memory and heart!
