Osiola “Bubba” Tisdale, 67, husband of Brenda Fay Coulter Tisdale, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia. Born July 30, 1954, in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late Osiola Tisdale, Sr. and the late Ola Tucker Tisdale. Mr. Tisdale attended Harmony Church. He was a retired truck driver. He was a loving, devoted, and Godly husband, father, and PaPa. He was a “Jack of all Trades” and enjoyed building and working on most anything. Survivors in addition to his wife of 44 years include three children, Belinda Fay Lowder (Tripp), and Osiola Wesley Tisdale (Abbie) both of Sumter, and Linda Fay Sheppard (Shannon) of Alcolu; ten grandchildren, Mary Fay, Lee, Caitlin, Brandon, Anna, Calub, Ethan, Chloe Fay, Alana, and Olivia; four brothers; two sisters; a special nephew, Gary Coulter; and a number of other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Eugene Mosier officiating. Pallbearers will be Earl Travis Coulter, Patrick Coulter, Brandon Tisdale, Lee Tisdale, Calub Tisdale, and Ethan Lowder. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Harmony Church, 1021 Sterling Street, Sumter, SC 29153.
