<p>Mary Catherine Lupton, 95, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:48 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.</p> <p>Mary was born August 31, 1926, in Tiffin, to the late Homer and Stella (King) Dewald. She married Frank Lupton in Tiffin on June 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1997.</p> <p>Survivors include her daughter, Catherine (Louis) Weltzer of Arvada, CO, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Lupton of Tiffin, four grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Lupton, Suzanne Koskimaki and Michael Weltzer and three great-grandchildren.</p> <p>Mary was retired from Tiffin Developmental Center and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School.</p> <p>Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband two brothers, Donald and Paul Dewald.</p> <p>Funeral services for Mary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tiffin with Rev. Katie Treadway officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, from 4-7 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Tiffin. The family asks that anyone attending the visitation or funeral service please wear a facial covering. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at Fairmont cemetery.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.&nbsp;</p>

Mary adored my boys, and our family adored her. She welcomed us all warmly with the best hugs every Sunday at FPC. Your family has our deepest condolences, she was a special woman that will be missed by many.

Cathy, Cindy, and extended family...

I have such fond memories as a young child spending time with "Sis", Frank, Cathy and Steve at your home adjacent to the Ballreich factory in Tiffin.

I knew Mary when she ran The Pines at Tiffin Developmental Center. Mary always had a smile, kind word, and loved to help in any way she could. I can still hear her voice and see her scurrying around to help the customers. I always smile when I think of Mary Lupton.
