<p><span style="font-size:22px;">John Battaglino of Milton formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on September 14 at the age of 97.&nbsp; Beloved husband of the late Rosina (Griffin) of 67 years. Cherished son of the late Antonio and Jenni Battaglino.&nbsp; Devoted father of Anthony J. and his wife Pamela of East Weymouth, Rosina Battaglino of Hyde Park, Joan Battaglino of Milford, NH, John G and his wife Patricia of Dedham and his late wife Donna Chandler Battaglino,&nbsp; and George D and his wife Lyn of Millis.&nbsp; Brother of Jennie Laurenza of Everett, Anthony of Hyde Park and the late Lillian Riccio, Ida Goffredo, Mary Jacobs and Virginia Teehan.&nbsp; Loving &quot;Papa&quot; of Julie Rose Cherry, Katie Battaglino, and Jacob Battaglino.&nbsp; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.&nbsp; Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park, MA Tuesday morning at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 10AM.&nbsp; Visiting hours Monday evening from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home.&nbsp;&nbsp; Interment at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery.&nbsp; Relatives and friends invited. John was very talented in and had a love for flowers and his long time occupation was a horticulturalist for the City of Boston and he was a proud US Army World War II Veteran.&nbsp; He will be greatly missed by so many</span></p>
