<div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="embed-responsive-item" frameborder="0" mozallowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" src="https://portal.midweststreams.com/services/iframe/24014" webkitallowfullscreen=""></iframe> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Cottondale ~ Carole &ldquo;Nurse Sue&rdquo; Moore went to meet her loved ones gone before her on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Celebration of Life is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Sue was born May 1, 1944 to Roy and Janella (Springer) Underwood in Fort Worth, Texas. &nbsp;She married the cowboy of her life, Jack E. Moore, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduation from LVN nursing school, Sue worked with several physicians, at various hospitals in Tarrant County, and then at Bridgeport Elementary as a school nurse for 25 years, where she was known as Nurse Sue. Still students would call her this when they saw her. When retired from the school, she went on to be a secretarial assistant at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Sue loved riding horses, participated in many play days, and in general loved and cared for all animals. She was a member of Western Star Cowboy Church. She so enjoyed Grub Sunday and cooking for everyone. Sue was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse and friend to many who will miss her dearly.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moore; her parents, Janella and John D. &ldquo;Buster&rdquo; Clement, and father, Roy Underwood.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Von Hawkins of Decatur; grandsons, Trey Hawkins and Chase Hawkins and wife Randee of Decatur; her great-grandchildren, Camryn Evans, Hollyn Hawkins, Carter Hawkins, and Hazel Jane Hawkins; her sisters, Sandra Ruth Clement of Ft. Worth, and Barbara Jean Denson and husband Tim of Joshua; her brothers, John D. Clement, Jr. and wife Rosie of Burleson, and Gregory Paul Clement and wife Jamie of Ft. Cottondale ~ Carole “Nurse Sue” Moore went to meet her loved ones gone before her on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Celebration of Life is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Sue was born May 1, 1944 to Roy and Janella (Springer) Underwood in Fort Worth, Texas.  She married the cowboy of her life, Jack E. Moore, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduation from LVN nursing school, Sue worked with several physicians, at various hospitals in Tarrant County, and then at Bridgeport Elementary as a school nurse for 25 years, where she was known as Nurse Sue. Still students would call her this when they saw her. When retired from the school, she went on to be a secretarial assistant at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Sue loved riding horses, participated in many play days, and in general loved and cared for all animals. She was a member of Western Star Cowboy Church. She so enjoyed Grub Sunday and cooking for everyone. Sue was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moore; her parents, Janella and John D. “Buster” Clement, and father, Roy Underwood.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Von Hawkins of Decatur; grandsons, Trey Hawkins and Chase Hawkins and wife Randee of Decatur; her great-grandchildren, Camryn Evans, Hollyn Hawkins, Carter Hawkins, and Hazel Jane Hawkins; her sisters, Sandra Ruth Clement of Ft. Worth, and Barbara Jean Denson and husband Tim of Joshua; her brothers, John D. Clement, Jr. and wife Rosie of Burleson, and Gregory Paul Clement and wife Jamie of Ft.
