Elias Anzora

Elias Anzora, 70, passed away peacefully at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Vintage Park September 7, 2021 in Houston. Born February 16, 1951 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Valentine Anzora and Desideria Martir, Mr. Anzora He was the 3rd of 5 children. He obtained a degree in public accounting in San Salvador. After graduating he worked in well know shoe company called ADOC where he worked as an operations manager. After much experience and good recommendations, he was promoted to shipping and receiving supervisor. After Elias made his transition to the United States, he spent the next 35 years working as lead maintenance in residential properties where he specialized in air conditioning repair. He retired in 2020. He lived in Houston, Texas and was married to his beautiful wife Reyna Maria Anzora of more than 35 loving years in 1989 at St. Jerome Catholic Church. He was a member at this parish but then later transitioned to Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he spent most of his ministerial years helping out in the community. Beginning at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Elias became involved with many ministries including Eucharistic Minister, Prison Ministry, Marriage Encounter, Marriage Prep classes, father prep classes. He then later continued these ministries at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Elias was a humble, honest, loyal man that loved his wife and children Herbert Anzora and Gabby Anzora dearly. He was a protector and provider that demonstrated the value of hard work and perseverance. Above all else he was a child of God, who as a man here on earth instilled the faith, virtues, and teachings of the Catholic Church with his beloved family. He hobbies included watching movies, documentaries, sporting events, walking outside while enjoying nature, and most especially spending time with his immediate and extended family. His favorite kind of music were Catholic Hymns and Bolero music.
