Dale R. Colpean<br> <br>Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Covenant Healtcare Cooper. Age 71 years. The son of Robert Colpean and the late Bonnie (Luark) Colpean, Dale was born March 5, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, American Legion Post #22 and the Army-Navy Club in South Bend, Indiana. He married Catherine Fiyak, his loving wife of 24 years, on May 5, 1997. She survives him. Dale was employed at General Motors for over 30 years until his retirement. Dale was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and trips to the casinos. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.<br> <br>Surviving besides his wife Cathy are one son and one daughter Robert Wilson, Portland, Oregon; Michele Horn and her husband Craig Mason, Alburquerque, New Mexico; a grandson, Jett Flora-Wilson; Dales’s father, Robert Colpean; a brother and three sisters, David Colpean, twin-sister, Gail and Joel Lightsey, Susan and David Doerr, Barbara Lutz; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mary Lou and Jeff Kersh; many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lynn Johnston, and by a brother-in-law, Mike Lutz.<br> <br>Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Following the visitation, you are cordially invited to a Celebration of Dale’s Life which will take place at Bruce’s Bar, 2721 Carrollton Road in Saginaw. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council, P.O. Box 227, Holly, Michigan, 48442.
