Bette M. Cors

Bette M. Cors, of Aurora, passed away Monday September 13, 2021. She was born September 23, 1928 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Matthew and Catherine (Michels) Steichen. Bette was a longtime member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She was honored as her Valedictorian of her High School class at Madonna High School. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society. She loved spending time with her family and bringing such joy to everyone especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bette is survived by her daughter, Becky Cors; her sons, Jay (Kerry) Cors and Craig (Ellen Gilbert) Cors; her three grandchildren, Matthew (Laiza) Cors, Megan (Taylor) Cors McWilliams and Patricia Cors; her five great grandchildren, Brodie McWilliams, Ellie McWilliams, Serenity Lentz, Hope Guzman and Luca Cors; many other family and friends. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard E. Cors; her son Bernard Cors; her granddaughter, Faith Cors and her sister, Maryanne Murphy. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. September 21, 2021 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, (corner of S. Lancaster Ave., and Hardin Ave.). Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
