Jarrod R. McCarthy September 23, 1974 - September 7, 2021 (age 46) On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, Jarrod McCarthy closed his eyes here and opened them to see the eyes of the Saviour. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 10:30 am at Pinedale Christian Church in Winston Salem, NC. Jarrod was born on September 23, 1974, in Lowell, MA to parents Francis and Gail (Robinson) McCarthy. He grew up in Hampstead, NH. Jarrod attended Pensacola Christian College and later finished his degree at Liberty University. During his career, Jarrod excelled as a manager in copier sales, most recently as a Business Development Manager at EPSON. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sarah (Hummel); children, Tricia (27), Layla (20), Aiden (14), and Quinn (8); his granddaughter Ava; his parents; and siblings, Matt (Miriam) and Amy (Tommy). Jarrod always put his family first. He loved them and worked hard to provide for them. He had a strong work ethic, striving for excellence in everything he did, and pushed others to do the same. He liked watching his favorite football teams, the Patriots and Penn State. He also loved vacationing with his family in Florida so much that they recently moved there. To really know Jarrod meant you knew his wife, his children, his mom and dad, Sarah’s parents, and his brother and sister, because he constantly spoke of his family. Jarrod was the same person no matter the situation. He was so full of life, so passionate, and his personality was infectious.
