Catherine "Kitty" Tiedemann Obituary

Catherine T. Tiedemann (nee Cronin), 75, of Highlands, formerly of Jersey City passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.  She was also known as "Kitty" to many and "MeMa" to all of the kids.  Catherine was one of 18 children raised in Jersey City before moving to Highlands in 2003.

Catherine was very well known in Jersey City Heights where she bartended in mostly all the local bars.  She also was a member Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Catherine loved to go to Atlantic City.  

Ms. Kitty was a class act, full of life and one of a kind.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Arthur "Sleepy" Tiedemann; devoted mother of Nichole Lorris Caruso and her husband John "Lil Johns" Caruso; loving grandmother of Samantha E. Caruso, John J. Caruso IV, Thomas Anthony Boehm and Anthony Thomas Janulius; cherished great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Ronald Cronin. Catherine is predeceased by her son Thomas A. Boehm and 16 siblings.

Visitation in on Friday, September 17, 2021, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use the parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City).  Funeral will begin on Saturday, September 18, 2021, 9:00 AM at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:00 AM at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 156 Hancock Ave., Jersey City.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers and in memory of Kitty's passion, please make donations to www.DonaldJTrump.com
