<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Myatt family is saddened to announce the death of their brother Frank, age 65, formerly of Qualicum Beach.</p> <p>Frank was predeceased by his father Herb (2011) and mother Joan (2021) of Owen Sound Ontario.&nbsp; He is survived by his devoted and cherished son John (Natasha Lizotte) of Red Deer, who was a great comfort to his father at the time of his passing.&nbsp; Frank was the brother of John (Donna) of London ON, Ric (Teressa) of Leith ON, Bob of Winnipeg, Catherine (John) of Toronto, and Edward of Owen Sound.&nbsp; Frank spent his formative years in Owen Sound and after graduating from OSCVI, he attended McMaster University in Hamilton, then moved to Red Deer, then onward to Vancouver, finally settling at Qualicum Beach, near Nanaimo.&nbsp; With a life-long love of motorcycles, guitars and exploring the great outdoors, he could entertain with a great story of his travels and life experiences.&nbsp;&nbsp; Frank embraced life on Vancouver Island and formed many deep friendships. &nbsp;He was a fervent follower of the Eckankar faith and was highly respected for his leadership role in the Eckankar community.&nbsp; The family wishes to thank the medical staff at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for their professional, compassionate care, and also the many friends who visited Frank with their support and comfort during his final days. Frank&rsquo;s life will be celebrated at a future date when restrictions permit.&nbsp;</p>
