Cecil "Butch" Redmon

Cecil “Butch” Redmon, age 71, of Kingston, TN, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Roane Medical Center. He was a member of Maranatha Church of the Harvest and Faith Masonic Lodge #756 F&AM. Butch was raised in Oliver Springs and was a graduate of Clinton High School. He worked for K-25/Martin Marietta in both Oak Ridge and Los Alamos, New Mexico and later worked for the Department of Corrections at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary. Butch was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Redmon and mother, Pearl Bryson Redmon. Survivors include his daughter, Leann Redmon; granddaughter, Aislin O’Connell; brother, Paul Redmon and wife, Nancy; nieces, Brandy Redmon and Lora-Leigh Moneymaker, great niece Benita Vigorito; and great nephews, Teddy, Ben, and Eli Moneymaker. The family will receive friends 2 pm-4 pm Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Weatherford Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm with Pastor James Russell officiating. I will miss Butch. He was a good man and helped me and my husband Tim when Tim had cancer. I will miss his calls. He and his family and friends are having a wonderful time in Heaven. Cindy Hearne

I remember cecil from norwood grammer school. I haven't seen him in years but I always thought he was a good guy. The family will be in my prayers. Billy
