John A. Amodio

John A. Amodio died on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. He was 75. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Rockaway for the past 45 years. Mr. Amodio served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and completed his military service with the National Guard in 1976. He was a Senior Operator with Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley prior to retirement. Mr. Amodio was a parishioner of St. Clement Pope & Martyr R.C. Church in Rockaway Twp. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Amodio; three children: Melissa (Chris) Romano, Nicholas (Miracles) Amodio and Jessica Amodio (Ray Johnson); five grandsons: Ryan and Jaxon Romano, and Anthony, Zachary and Lucas Amodio; his brother, Paul (Diane) Amodio; and his sister, Esther Piorkowski. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 12:00 PMat St. Clement Pope & Martyr R.C. Church, 154 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Dover NJ 07801.
