<p>February 4, 2015</p><p>Hardwell H. August, 93, of Apulia Street, East Providence died Wednesday February 4, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of Delores C. (Casey) August. Born in New Orleans he was a son of the late Henry A. and Beatrice (Jordan) August. Mr. August was a Chef for Rhode Island College before retiring. He was a World War II veteran and proudly served the United States Navy for 23 years. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Joanna L. King and her husband Michael of East Providence and Deborah Rolle of Atlanta, Georgia, one son, Henry A. August of Wakefield, six grandchildren, Michelle Pearson, Jeanett King, Nicole Riley, Jason August, Justin August and Devina Rolle, three great grandchildren, Alora Pearson, Jordan and Blake Riley, two sisters, Leatrice Santacruz and Vern Barbarin and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marcella A. George, Nathaniel August, Wellington August and Zanifer August. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday February 13, 2015 at 9:30 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private.</p>
