Hawkins, 54, of Almy Avenue died Monday September 29, 2014 at the Rhode Island Hospital.Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Edmund R. and Elinor A. (Dunlap) Hawkins.Karen loved music and animals and will be missed by her many friends.She leaves her partner Edward Hebert and her longtime friend, Walter Warren. She was the friend of the late Valerie Aguiar.A committal service was on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.
