Sherrie-Ann Tavares, 51, of Rumford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Bernice J. (Miller) Tavares.

Sherrie-Ann was a bookkeeper for First Student Bus Company in Cranston. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her biggest joy in life was her daughter Victoria.

She leaves one daughter, Victoria Tavares of Rumford, two sisters, Doreen Zych of Florida and Mary Jones of Rumford and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bonnie Olsen and Allan Olsen.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday, February, 8, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 PM.
