Edmund P. “Hawk” Lyons, 84 of Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Orchard View Manor. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry and Emma (McDermott) Lyons. Mr. Lyons was a supervisor for the City of Providence before he retired. He was also a manager for several local bars including Golfers. He leaves two daughters, Karen Barber and her husband Calvin and Patricia Lyons, one son, James Lyons, three grandchildren, Christopher Lyons, James Lyons and Jason Lyons, one great granddaughter, Ema Lyons and one brother, Robert Lyons. He was the brother of the late Henry Lyons and William Lyons. His funeral service and visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 PM.
