Isaac "Ike" Wallace, 80, of Warwick, an Air Force Veteran, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the West Shore Health Center in Warwick. He graduated from Hope High School, where he was a reigning track star. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Erma (Crayton) Wallace. He was born in Deerfield, FL to Matthew Wallace (deceased) and Luvina (Baker) Wallace (deceased). Mr. Wallace was a Director of Economic Development for the State of Rhode Island and previously an Electrical Engineer for IBM. He was a past Potentate of (A.E.A.O.N.M.S) Constantine Temple #14, a past Worshipful Master for King Solomon, Lodge #5 and was also a 33rd degree Mason. He was an avid deep-sea fisher and enjoyed his Jaguars. He was known for his love of food and phenomenal cooking. Mr. Wallace leaves one daughter, Terri S. Wallace of Alexandria, VA, and one son, Gary L. Wallace (Melissa) of Providence, RI, four grandchildren, Jonathen, Asya, Jordan, and Sydni Wallace, one great granddaughter, Isla Lewis, one sister, Shirley Mitchner (Hurtis), and one brother, Thomas Wallace. He was preceded in death by his sister, Songina Muse (Roscoe), and brother, Eugene Wallace (deceased - Maureen). In addition to those mentioned, he leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loved ones. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday December 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 noon.
