Teddy Elliott York, SC Mr. Teddy Elliott, 71, of York died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Harris Hospice House in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Central Baptist Church, and other times at the home of Eric and Darlene Elliott, 1940 Meadow Road, York, SC. The funeral will follow at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Carey Caldwell officiating. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Born in York, Mr. Elliott was the son of the late Harmon Jessie and Faye Elliott. He graduated from York High School and retired from the City of York. Surviving is the love of his life, Brenda Elliott, his son, Brad Elliott, granddaughter, Melissa (Kevin), grandsons, Jacob and Christopher, and two great grandsons. He is also survived by brothers, Eric (Darlene), Douglas (Debbie), and David (Kaye) all of York, sisters, Linda (Grier) Hawkins of York, Susan (Phil) Parrish of York, and Tina Elliott of Rock Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews. Teddy was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Elliott, his mother and father, and two sisters, Reba Elliott and Myra Sissy Dover.
