Obituary Notice Ruby White YORK -- Ruby Mae Brimer White, 88, of 11 Catherine St died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Brad Vassey officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Ruby was a daughter of the late Floyd and Jessie Eddleman Brimer. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, and was retired from Cannon Mills. Ruby is survived by daughter Diane Watts and husband Jerry of Clover, SC, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and brothers and sister, Floyd Brimer, Nellie Schools, and Lewis Brimer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Howard White, son Robert Wayne Boyd, daughter Shirley Lawson McDaniel, and brothers and sisters, Ed Brimer, Leonard Brimer, Ethel Blanton, Helen Tallent, Clota McCalister, and Jessie Huffstetler.
