Dorothy M. Bragg, 95, of Livingston, returned to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Dorothy was born January 13, 1926, in Cambridge, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Lorah (Slocum) Keates. In 1956 she married Roy Rossell. He died in December 1975. In 1981, she ran into an old high school friend, John Bragg, who proceeded to sweep her off her feet. They were married in November of that same year in Lincoln, Illinois, after which they returned to John’s home in Montana. Since 2018, Dorothy has been under the loving care of the staff at Caslen Living Center, and her family is forever grateful for each and every person there. Dorothy loved Livingston and her many friends and family. She especially loved her church and the flower work she did for it. In Illinois, she was the Parish Visitor for the Methodist church, where she worked for six years, making weekly visits to several nursing homes and shut-ins. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John, two sisters, and her parents. She is survived by three stepchildren, Sheila (Bob) Segil, Jeff (Laurie) Bragg, and Mark (Tracy) Bragg; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. At her request, cremation will take place and no services are planned. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
