Vickie Lynn Crisp was born in Mason, Texas on January 9, 1960. She was the eldest of nine children between her mom, Etta Victoria Reichenau Henley and her daddy, Jimmy Ray Henley, Sr. She married her soulmate, William Jerdon “Jay” Crisp, Sr., in Menard, Texas on July 1, 1978 and they had five beautiful children together. In the sixty-one years of her life, she was a master crochet artist, the family’s tea cookie master chef every holiday and the most loving momma, Mimi, and big sister that this world could have asked for. She settled down in Carlsbad, Texas and her home was the center of her family. She was loved, she will be missed, and she enters heaven, now, joyous to be reunified with her husband, Jay, her parents, Vickie and Jimmy Henley, her mother in law, Doris Crisp, her brother in law, Tommy Crisp, her brother, Jerome Louis Frazier Henley, her sister, Tillitha Cean Henley, and her nephews, Joshua and Shelby Castillo, as well as her grandparents and other family, who were waiting to rejoice with her for eternity.
