<p>Linwood Burgess Jr. 64, of Moberly, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was born September 25, 1956 in Moberly to Linwood &nbsp;Sr.,and Evelyn (Arthur) Burgess.</p> <p>He married Andrea Norman&nbsp;September 25, 1992&nbsp;in Moberly and she survives of the home. Also surviving include children; Christina Burgess, Lisa Burgess, Chasity Jackson, and Deja Burgess, eight grandchildren, nephews, nieces; including a special niece Tina Arthur, other relatives and friends.</p> <p>Linwood was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Chrissy Burgess, a niece, Dala &ldquo;Pumpkin&rdquo; Williams, and a brother Donald Arthur. &nbsp;He had proudly served his country in the United States Army prior to receiving an Honorable Discharge.</p> <p>Private services honoring Linwood&#39;s life were&nbsp;held followed by&nbsp;committal prayer,&nbsp;military honors&nbsp;and burial at the Oakland Cemetery,.&nbsp;</p>

I worked with Linwood in Columbia and he taught me everything about dry cleaning..... Our friendship was solid and he was a great person to be around, he is truly missed
