<p>HILL, MATTHEW BRETT, 26 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA</p> <p>was taken from this world on September 10, 2021.&nbsp; Matthew was the youngest born to Mark E. Hill on October 5, 1994.&nbsp; He graduated Blairsville High School in 2013.&nbsp; He went on to start work at R&amp;L Development Company before moving on to Halliburton and eventually settling at K Dolan Corp.&nbsp; Matthew was very charismatic with a great sense of humor and a fantastic smile.&nbsp; He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drinking beer with his buddies.&nbsp; Most everyone he met had respect for his work ethic and had great things to say about him.&nbsp; Anyone who knew the real Matt would tell you he was kind and had a good heart.&nbsp; Matthew&#39;s life took a wrong turn and it cost him his life.&nbsp; Matt will be deeply missed by his father, Mark Hill, Blairsville, PA; brother, Mark Hill, Jr. &amp; wife, Amber, Derry, PA; nephew, Mark Hill, III; nephew, Braden Brendlinger; nana, Donna Hill, Blairsville, PA; step-mother, Judy, Blairsville, PA,&nbsp; uncle, Scott Hill &amp; wife, Christine, Bryant, AR; Uncle, Bill Holmes &amp; wife Vanessa, Montoursville, PA; aunt, Sherri McClure, Blairsville, PA; step-grandparents, Bill &amp; Marge Holmes, Coral, PA; cousin, Rich; best friends, Tyler &amp; Levi and many others who loved him.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd &amp; Carol Hill; uncle, Barry Hill and aunt, Barbara Williams.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on&nbsp; Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM.&nbsp; Pastor Dawn Kristhart will officiate.<br /> Sorry I never got to say goodbye.&nbsp; I&#39;ll always love you-Dad.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;</p>

When we moved to Blairsville Matt was the first boy to approach my son and ask him to hang out at the CC. He made him feel welcomed. Thanks Matt Rest In Peace. Prayers for your family.

It's the dead of winter I'm getting Mark and Matt ready for school I asked Matt are you ready he's mad and says yes I said are you going to wear pants then he was really mad
