Marjorie A. Gurney

Vestal – Marjorie (Margie) Gurney, died September, 13, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 26, 1946 in Binghamton, NY. She was predeceased by her son, James Louis Gurney. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary, her daughter Deborah (Roy) Clapper, of Hallstead, PA, her son, Gary P. of Friendsville, PA, her granddaughters, Amber and Brandi (Matt) Johnson, her grandson, Tyler, great grandsons, Blake Clapper and Jonah Johnson. A special shout out to her Maiden's, Brenda, Dianne, Lennie, Marie, Barb and Kelly, you are very special people. She enjoyed her motorcycle road trips with her Vestal Center friends. She also enjoyed her Friday luncheons with her girlfriends. At Marge's request, there will be no funeral. She wanted everyone together to celeberate her life. The Celebration of Life will be at Whitetails Bar in Little Meadows, PA on September 26th from 2 to 4 p.m.
