Phyllis Jean Shipley of Cuba, MO was born on Wednesday, June 24, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Johnnie Earl Wilson and Lola Beatrice Bell Wilson.  She passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Cuba Manor in Cuba, MO at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 18 days.

Phyllis married Carl Roger Shipley on January 9, 1960 in California and to this union four children were born.  She accepted the Lord early in life.  Phyllis enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and watching horror movies.  She loved to play bingo, go to the casino and play the slot machines.  Most of all, Phyllis loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Wilson and Lola Beatrice Kingsland; parents-in-law Ernest and Gladys Shipley; husband Carl R. Shipley.

She is survived by her children Johnny Shipley (girlfriend Pamela Anderson) of Cherryville, MO, Tonya (Jeff) Turnbough of Cherryville, MO, Shilene (Aaron) Robinett of Brumley, MO, Sandra Shipley of Brumley, MO; brothers Johnny (Jeanie) Wilson of Scottsdale, AZ, Mike (Ruth) Wilson of St Louis, MO and Lawrence "Larry" Ray of Vienna, MO; grandchildren Shane (Erika)Shipley of CA, Chantal Marlowe of Brumley, MO, Miranda Robinett of Brumley, MO, Bre Ann Shipley (boyfriend Mike Staab) of Osage Beach, MO, Timothy Turnbough of Cherryville, MO and Tabitha (Kendall) Vernon of Steelville, MO; great grandchildren Jacob Baker, Jasmine Marlowe, Gavin Marlowe, Marisa Crader, Nathanal Turnbough, Raven Skaggs, Riley Vernon, Chloe Vernon, Xander Vernon, Nikolai Vernon and Coyote Shipley; special friends Sharon (Gary) Liedl of Florence, AZ and Delores Jean Wilkerson of Ava, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family chose cremation as her final disposition. Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Cherryville Baptist Church.
