Robert J. Moore

Robert J. Moore, 78, of Rochester, NY, passed away on 09/11/21 in the arms of his two sons, Shaun and Ryan Moore. His life-long friends Anthony Iati and Michael and Sandy O'Meara were present to comfort him. Robert is now in the arms of our father in heaven, resting comfortably and no longer in pain. Robert is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Ruth and Jim Burnham and his daughter, Shelley Moore. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy and a lifelong employee of Kodak/ITT for 40+ years. He worked in the government classified projects division, building and developing optics and equipment used to protect and defend our nation. He took pride in the top-secret assignments he was given and both of his sons and grandkids could not be more proud of him. Robert was an avid bowhunter and outdoorsman, having spent his best years in the woods with his two boys. His pride and joy was his grandchildren, Maya and Landon Moore. Robert is survived by his two sons, Shaun and Ryan Moore; his grandchildren, Maya and Landon Moore; his daughter-in-law, Brittany Moore. Friends may call Friday, September 17th from 5-8PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Road, Webster). Interment services will be Sunday, September 19th, 1PM at Riverside Cemetery in Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 .
