Nancy J. Sutton, age 84 of Homeworth, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio.

She was born October 6, 1936 to Dewey and Grace (Helman) McLaughlin.

Nancy formerly worked at Western Southern Life Insurance, John Hawkins Realty, Copeland Oaks, Stonebridge Sales and Dicken and Marshalls.

She also was a Sales Consultant for Longaberger Baskets, achieving Million Dollar Sales Status.

Nancy helped start the 4H Musketeers Saddle Club for Stark County.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Palmer of Paris; grandchildren, Layn and Logan; sisters, Patricia and Gail; and brothers, Robert and Edward.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley L. Sutton, whom she married December 18, 1971, and who died September 15, 2012; two brothers, Paul and Thomas; and step-son, Max Sutton.

Nancy’s wishes for a private burial will be honored.

A Remembrance Gathering for sharing memories will be held Thursday, September 16th from 5-8 p.m. at the Salem United Methodist Church, 14113 Salem Church Rd. Alliance, Ohio 44601.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her name to Salem United Methodist Church; 14113 Salem Church Rd., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
