James T. Fails
FAILS, James T., age 57, departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2005. A long time resident of Dayton and a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1966. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. and retired from RTA after 25 years of service. Jimmy was preceded in death by mother, Helen B. Fails; grandparents, Gertrude and Willie Lowe and an brother, Ronald Lowe, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 35 years, Elaine Fails; sons, James T. Fails, Jr., and Allen (Gina) Fails; daughter Charmaine Fails; proud grandpa to Greg, Marshionna, Allen, Jr., Aironna Fails and Al Pauley; sisters, Connie Fails of Dayton, and Eva Fails of Columbus, OH; brother, Jackie (Rachel) Fails, Sr.; favorite uncle, Princeton Lowe, Sr.; special sister-in-law, Barbara (Gregg) Meriwether; brother-in-law, Alfred Shuiabe. Many loving nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral service 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Faith Vision Baptist Church, 4769 Free Pike, with Rev. T. H. McFarland, Jr., officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
