<p>David B. Richard, 69 of Marlborough died unexpectedly at his home after a period of declining health on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.</p> <p>He was born in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late, Paul and Alice (Lund) Richard. He graduated from Arlington High School.</p> <p>David employed as a CDL Truck Driver and was a member of Local 25. He worked for Brigham’s Ice Cream for 17 years.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia “Patty” (Hankins) Richard of Marlborough; 3 children, Francis Mavilia and his wife Linda of Groton, Paul Mavilia of Grafton, Laurel Ebert and her husband Jared of Boylston; 3 grandchildren, Anna, Jacob and Madalyn; 2 sisters, Paulette Eori and her husband Paul of Duxbury, Renee Richard of Billerica; a brother, Paul and Diane Richard of SC formally of Duxbury MA and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>He was predeceased by a son Andrew Mavilia.</p> <p>There are no calling hours.</p> <p>Following cremation, a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 24, at 11 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough, MA.
