<p><strong>Rodger Lynn Hymas:&nbsp; July 19, 1946 &ndash; September 11, 2021</strong></p> <p><strong>Born in Magna, Ut to Ida Delvene Field Hymas, of Park City, Utah &amp; Merrill D Hymas Sr., of Salt Lake City, Utah.&nbsp; Passed away September 11, 2021 in St. George, Utah. &nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Ion Hymas and his sister, Merrilene, and brothers Richard and Arthur. &nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>He leaves behind wife, Jean Dickson Hymas. Daughters, Rae Hymas &amp; Kay Paal, a son Jay Hymas and several grandchildren and a great grandchild, as well as two stepdaughters, Melody Joy Dickson, and Linda Loraine Peter Vinson.&nbsp; Still living are his sisters June Ames &amp; Glenna Ridge and a brother Merrill (Dude) Hymas Jr.&nbsp; He also leaves behind his beloved canine companions, Sugar, Coco, Skyler and Roxy, who miss him very much.</strong></p> <p><strong>He participated in the Boy Scouts, gaining the status of Eagle Scout.&nbsp; Rodger graduated from Cyprus High School in Salt Lake County in May 1964.&nbsp; He was in the Air Force Reserves as an Aircraft Firefighter from March 1965 thru March 1971.&nbsp; He also worked in the produce business for several grocery stores from 1961 till his retirement from Smith&rsquo;s Grocery Store in St. George UT in 2008.&nbsp; He also completed the Police Academy and was a Deputy Constable for the Washington County Constable&rsquo;s Office from July 1996 thru Dec 2019.</strong></p> <p><strong>He loved golfing, traveling, his many dogs he had through the years and partaking of good food and wine.&nbsp; He enjoyed friendships in the Dixie Social Club of Southern Utah, where he played his favorite game of Golf the Card Game every month until his health failed him in 2021.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Rodger Lynn Hymas:  July 19, 1946 – September 11, 2021

Born in Magna, Ut to Ida Delvene Field Hymas, of Park City, Utah & Merrill D Hymas Sr., of Salt Lake City, Utah.  Passed away September 11, 2021 in St. George, Utah.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Ion Hymas and his sister, Merrilene, and brothers Richard and Arthur.
