Deanna Van Luven Timmins, Ontario Obituary

Deanna Van Luven

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of a beautiful soul on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 54 years old. Beloved wife of Brian Van Luven. Cherished mother of Steven Richter, Ryan Richter (Sara Buttineau) and Chantal Sirois (Darrin White). Proud and devoted Nana to Noveah, Hayden and Ellie-Grace. Dear sister of Dale Charbonneau (Sue) of Fauquier and Paul Louttit (Nicole) of Calgary. Deanna will be tremendously missed by her nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends who absolutely adored her. She is predeceased by her parents Jean-Guy Charbonneau and Kathleen Currie. Deanna was the most welcoming and down to earth woman to cross your path. She was always so accepting and instantly became a “Momma Bear” to so many. Deanna would always find the good in everyone and just simply love you for who you are. She was always laughing and down for a good time. She always made sure everyone was well taken care of and always had food in their stomach; there could never be too much food. Deanna enjoyed spending time at the cottage/camping, driving down a dirt road, finding a spot in the bush and having lunch with her soul mate. She loved walking and biking, reading books and playing TV/radio bingo on the weekends, you always knew when Mom was close to winning the “jackpot”, you could hear her excitement from a mile away. She was always up for anything exciting and just had this way of living life, even through challenging times. The thing she absolutely loved doing the most was spending time with her husband, children and her precious grandbabies. She was the most incredible Nana anyone could ever have; they were her entire world. The bond she had with the three of them could never be replaced. Mom absolutely loved her fur baby Moose and her grand-puppies Marley and Keisha. She strived through life with so much love and compassion. She was always giving and making sure everyone was well taken care of. She loved learning about people and hearing about their life journey. She believed in always doing the right thing, staying kind and paying it forward. She was the “boss” and always got things done. Everyone who had a chance to know this beautiful woman will forever cherish what she did for them and how she made them feel. Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. We will forever carry her in our hearts. The family would like to take this time to extend our sincere gratitude to the Timmins and District Hospital and the Health Sciences North Hospital by going above and beyond and showing kindness and compassion towards her. Thank you for ensuring that she was well taken care of and that she never felt alone. As per her wishes, cremation will be held and there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or Health Sciences North would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
