<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> Mae Currie, 94, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2021. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, at 10 am with services to follow at 11 am at Trinity Baptist Church.<br /> <br /> Mae was born on November 3, 1926, in Tabor, Texas, to her parents, Joseph and Stella Barnes. Mae spent her childhood growing up in Tabor. She was very athletic and enjoyed playing volleyball when she was in high school.<br /> <br /> After attending high school, Mae worked as a cashier. After she got married she began homemaking and raising her children.<br /> One of Mae&#39;s favorite things to do was go to yard sales. She would search for unique items such as antiques, dishes, and especially chicken figurines. Mae also enjoyed watching many shows including General Hospital, Dancing with The Stars, and Gunsmoke.<br /> <br /> Mae cherished any time she got to spend with her family. Some of her most memorable times with them were a trip to Big Bend, and Branson, Missouri. She also enjoyed attending family reunions and spending the holidays with her loved ones.<br /> Mae was a loving, strong, and feisty woman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.<br /> <br /> Mae is survived by her children, Dean Daniel and wife Deborah, Richard Daniel, Judy Payne, Larry Daniel and wife Rosita, Rita Williams and husband David Williams; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Mae Currie, 94, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2021. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, at 10 am with services to follow at 11 am at Trinity Baptist Church.

Mae was born on November 3, 1926, in Tabor, Texas, to her parents, Joseph and Stella Barnes. Mae spent her childhood growing up in Tabor. She was very athletic and enjoyed playing volleyball when she was in high school.
