<p>Margaret Mag Bamfield&nbsp; age 102 of Byesville, passed away on Saturday Sept. 11, 2021 at Countryview Assisted Living Center.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was born September 30, 1918 in Byesville, daughter of the late John and Mary (Mihalik) Kasper.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Margaret was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and retired from Rolling Hills Local School District, she was a member of the Golden 60&rsquo;s, and the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. Mag loved to go on trips, play cards and bingo with her friends, and was a very active member of the Lutheran church.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bamfield whom she married January 21, 1944 and passed away August 9, 1986; sisters, Lena, Mary and Sue; four brothers, Joe, Andy, John and Steve, in laws Margaret Bamfield, Vera Gill, and Everett Bamfield.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her niece, Michaelene Ferrell,of New Albany, whom she raised, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, and two sisters in law, Orpha Kasper, and Helen Bamfield.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday Sept. 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Greenwood Cemetery, Rev. Catrina Hawkins-Bowles will officiate.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Black-Epperson funeral home in Byesville with arrangements. Margaret Mag Bamfield  age 102 of Byesville, passed away on Saturday Sept. 11, 2021 at Countryview Assisted Living Center.

 

She was born September 30, 1918 in Byesville, daughter of the late John and Mary (Mihalik) Kasper.
