<p>STREETSBORO</p> <p>Martin J. Fleming, 67 years of age, passed away Sunday September 12, 2021 at his residence. Born on November 4, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herbert and Marian Fleming. A longtime Streetsboro resident, Mr. Fleming was a graduate of Streetsboro High School. Following high school, he honorably served in the U.S. Army. He had been the owner-operator of WhizZards in Streetsboro, retiring in 2018. Mr. Fleming was known for assuming the role of Santa Claus for numerous groups, especially yearly for the City of Streetsboro at the holiday season. He enjoyed fishing with his grand-son Tyler in his spare time, and spending time with his faithful dog “Charlie”. Survivors include his daughter Melanie Fleming of Mantua, sons Anthony Fleming of Streetsboro, and Theodore Fleming of Columbus; siblings Herbie Fleming of Columbus, Beverly Klonaris of Streetsboro, Joanie Fleming of Florida, and Cathy McCain. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Tyler Fleming, Rebecca Fleming, Serena Fleming, and Charley Fleming. He was preceded in death by his siblings James and Jesse Fleming, and Patricia Hunt. No calling hours or services. Cremation.
