Dorothy Jean Johnson, 85, of Delta Township, passed away September 12, 2021. Dorothy was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on November 23, 1935, daughter of John and Bernice (Mueller) Brown. She worked as a secretary for Waverly Public School, Adelphian Academy, and for the last 50 years worked for the Michigan Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church; enjoyed baking, sewing, sunbathing and relaxing on the beach, and working with flowers in the garden. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Russ) Wilcox and Laura (Bill) OBzera; grandchildren: Kelsey (Justin), Mathew, Stephanie (Max), and Jennifer (Edger); great-grandchildren: Liam, Amelia, Wyatt, Emmett, Hudson, Canaan, Micah, and Genesis; step-children: Jeannie (David), Sheryl (Guy), Sandra, and Marcia. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer William Johnson Jr., and parents. No services will be held at this time.
