Jeanette Jane Smyre Mason, age 80 of Lincolnton, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence. Born May 5, 1941 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Miles and Vivian Carpenter Smyre. Jeanette was a member of Daystar Family Worship Center in Lincolnton. She retired from Carpenter Company in Hickory. In addition to her parents, husband, Edd Mason; 2 daughters, Pam Mason and Lawana Engle; 3 sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory: Daughter: Kimberly Watson and husband, Darryl of Newton 2 Sons: Eric M. Mason and wife, Tracy of Crouse; Mark D. Mason of Lincolnton Brother: Frank Smyre of Maiden Canine Companions: Destiny & Bobo Numerous nieces and nephews 11 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Daystar Family Worship Center, 1402 Gaston St., Lincolnton, NC 28092 with Pastor Joey Williams officiating.
