Blade Allen Daniel Jeffrey, "Papa Bear" of the Bear Clan, age 28, of Cass Lake, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from Pennington, MN.  He was born on November 5th, 1992, in Ashland, WI to Stephanie Babineau and Kenneth Jeffrey.

Blade was a kind compassionate soul, very funny and full of love.  He was a very intellectual person but a kid at heart.  Blade truly appreciated the little things in life.  He was a loving father to all his children and a very family-oriented man who loved every moment he spent with the people he loved.  Blade went through life leisurely, thoroughly enjoying the journey to his destination.  He enjoyed music, making music, rap lyrics, podcasts and he loved to make people laugh.  He will be missed by all his family and friends.

Family that welcomes Blade to the spirit world are his great grandparents, Muriel Johnson, Floyd Johnson.

Blade leaves behind his parents, Stephanie Babineau of Mankato and Kenneth Jeffrey of Mount Pleasant, MI; fiancé, Annette Johnson of Walker; stepchildren, Orlando Johnson-Fineday, David, Thomas, Jesse, JudiMarie and Elizza Raisch, Daviona and Avery White, sisters, Chare’ Babineau and Alisha Peters both of Mount Pleasant, MI; brothers, Kenny Jeffrey of Cass Lake and Andrew Walton of Grand Rapids, MI; grandparents, Barb Johnson and Mike and Maxine Babineau; aunties; Sheryl, Alana and Vicki Babineau and Nikki Gurno; uncles, Lucas Headbird and John Gurno, numerous other relatives and too many friends to mention.

Wake services for Blade will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13th, 2021, and continue until his 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Wednesday, September 15th all taking place at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, MN.  Pallbearers for Blade will be Kenny Jeffrey, Lucas Headbird, Brent Babineau, Jared Headbird, Orlando Johnson-Fineday, Doug Bryan, Jaylen LaRose and Eli Raisch.  His honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends.  Interment will be in the Wilson Family Cemetery at Mission/Cass Lake, MN.
