Shirley A. Hall Obituary

Shirley Ann Hall was born on March 20, 1956 to the late Robert Hall Sr. and Frances Hall In Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Bertha Mae Green, Alma Jean Hall, Minnie Peal Norman and Brothers; Robert Hall Jr. and Larry Hall.

At very young age Shirley found Christ. After having her first child she relocated to San Diego, California to reunite with her sisters and bothers. She went on to join Encanto Southern Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Don E. Conely where she was baptized. Although known for her silly and spicy ways, she knew God.

Shirley Hall was affectionately known as "Mama" "Grandma", "Auntie Shirley" or " Miss Ann". She was always loving, witty, definitely hilarious and most of all unapologetically herself NO MATTER WHAT!  She enjoyed eating, listening music, dancing and talking with her grand children and  love ones. She would go over and beyond to help and love on others, even if it was her first encounter with them. She would call everyone her friend. We thank God for her demonstration of love, unmatched strength and for the opportunity and privilege to call her our mom.

She leaves behinds four children whom truly admired and appreciated all that they learned from her; Antonio (Jenita) Hall of Pensacola, Fl, Sharolyn (Derrick "Daron") McCrary of San Diego, Ca, Saran (Bryon) McDowell of Long, Beach, Ca and Walter (Breana) Hall of Phoenix, Az.; Eleven grandchildren Antonio Lighting-Hall, Terrell Lighting-Hall, Elnora Lighting-Hall, Derrick D.
