Donald Johns Sr.

Donald R. “Don” Johns, Sr., 81, of Rensselaer, IN (formerly of Francesville, IN) went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He passed away at Franciscan Health Hospital in Rensselaer. Don was born on April 25, 1940 in Francesville to the late Charles W. and Emma [Kopka] Johns, Sr. On June 9, 1962, Don married the late Roberta Jo Stout at the First Christian Church in Winamac, IN. Don was a member of the First Baptist Church in Francesville. He enjoyed working on old tractors. Don loved his family very much, especially the great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Goller, Sister Lynn E. Johns, Sr., Brother Charles W. Johns, Jr., Brother Visitation will be from 11 AM EDT - 2 PM EDT Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EDT Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN with Pastor Dennis Gutwein officiating. Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humanitarian Distribution Center in Francesville.
