Paula R. Schaeffer

Paula R. Schaeffer, 76, of Maple St., Pine Grove,  passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born on May 28, 1945 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Paul H. and Viola Hain Krammes.

She was a 1963 graduate of Tremont High School.

Paula was an Editor for the South Schuylkill Printing and Publishing (Press Herald)  for 22 years before retiring. 

Preceding her in death were her husband of 46 years, Randell K. Schaeffer and a sister, Betty Krammes.

Surviving are two sons, Drew Schaeffer of Pine Grove, and Derek and wife Wendy Schaeffer of Lebanon; a daughter, Deanna Schaeffer of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Beaux Schaeffer,  Emily Schaeffer, and Rachel Schaeffer; a sister Anna Knapp of Pine Grove and a brother, Dennis and wife Faye Krammes of Tremont.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either the Hillside SPCA, P. O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901, or the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA 18 Wertz Dr.Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.
