Phillip R. Carnes of Clarkson was born on March 12, 1967, the son of Roger and Sue Carnes and passed away at his home on September 11, 2021, surrounded by his family. Phillip was formerly employed at Plastikon Industries in Leitchfield.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; mother, Sue Higdon, mother-in-law, Irma Mitchell of Indiana, father-in-law, Dennis Bealor (Carol Lee); his children, Travis Haycraft (Leah), Christopher Carnes, Cody Carnes, Bobbi Jo Carnes (Craig Lasley), Ryker Carnes and Irma Sue Carnes all of Clarkson; his siblings, Sherri Mayhew, Ashley Higdon (Brandi), Paul Carnes and Barry Higdon (Amanda); brother-in-law, Joshua Dossett of Indiana; sister-in-law, Ashlee Wyrick (Jesse) of Indiana, sister-in-law, Sierra Martin (Seth) of Illinois, Brother-in-law, Steven Slack (Annie), sister-in-law, Savannah Slack of Leitchfield, sister-in-law, Amanda Highbaugh (Jackson); 8 grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Erman and Nettie Decker, an Aunt Emma Burns and three uncles, Randall Decker, Alfred Decker and Allen Carnes all of Clarkson, an aunt, Gayle Matchell of Missouri and a niece, Bonnie Mae Wyrick of Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Lasley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Peonia Christian Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Monday and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
