Damon Young<br>July 10th, 1959 - September 11, 2021 <br><br>It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Damon Leslie Young who passed away on September 11, 2021 at 6:20pm at the age of 62 years from a short term battle with cancer. Damon was born in Elk Point, Alberta to his Mother Daisy and Father Leslie and resided in Calgary, Alberta for most of his adulthood.<br><br>He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and best friend. He is survived by his Wife Rosanne, Daughter Lezlie (Dani), Granddaughter Brooklynn, his Mother Daisy, older brother Campbell (Elaine), older sisters Celeste (Rod) and Dena (Brad). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces, nephews, family and friends.<br><br>He was predeceased by his Father Leslie, older sister Christine and nephew Brandon as well as other friends and family members.<br><br>Damon was an amazing man who loved playing golf at Wolf Creek with his best friends, buddies and nephews, watching NFL football cheering for the Dallas Cowboys with his wife and buddies on Sundays during the season, and racing hot wheels with his granddaughter on the weekends. He worked for many companies driving truck all around the city of Calgary, and worked his last job with his wife as a General Labourer. <br><br>As Damon has requested there will be no funeral service or gathering.
