Weinstein Elaine Theresa Age 58, of York formerly of Penn Hills, on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Beloved wife of Bryan D.; loving mother of Charlotte, Sydney and Samantha Weinstein; daughter of Catherine C. Polens and the late Edward J. Polens; sister of Catherine (Jeffrey) Paich, Darlene Polens and Arlene (Robert) Schollaert; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Elaine enjoyed traveling and being a Girl Scout Leader of Troop 2600. Friends received, Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd.,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish St. John the Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank UPMC Memorial Hospital 4th floor in York, Hospice and Community Care in York and Good Samaritan Hospice in Pittsburgh for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

I met Elaine and Bryan in Germany. We did so many travels together. I always loved the phone calls that we shared, she was my best friend. Elaine could make you laugh until you cried. She was a great wife and loving mother. May she be remembered forever.
