William Bill Wingfield

Funeral Services for Mr. William “Bill” Wingfield, 75, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bill was born July 18, 1946 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 10, 2021. He loved spending time with his family, camping, fishing, watching football, and spending time with all the grandchildren. His favorite thing to do was take the great-grandchildren to church, and then to eat Applebee’s after. Mr. Wingfield retired from B&C Trucking, which was owned and operated by him and his wife, Mrs. Cora. After his retirement, Mr. Bill became a part-time school bus driver for Ouachita Parish. Mr. Wingfield is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elsie Wingfield. Survivors include his wife of 50+ years, Cora; two sons, Clay and wife Christina, Chris and wife Linda Kaye; six grandchildren, Kyle and wife Brittany, Stormy, Dakota, Kaylin, Alison, and Shelbi; nine adorable great-grandchildren; brother, David and wife Margaret; sister, Charlotte; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. Pallbearers will be Kyle Wingfield, Dakota Wingfield, Kaleb Mondey, Terrell Martin, Dylan Beavers, and Skeeter Boyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Toole and Robbie Cuevas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Rowland Road Baptist Church.
