William Milton Jordan Obituary

William “Billy” Jordan, 84, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on September 12, 2021 at his home. Born on April 2, 1937, he was the son of the late Lee Jordan and the late Doris Jordan. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ellon Jordan; daughters Denise (Randy) Martin and Clarise Jordan; grandchildren, Ashley Thomason, Jordan Runion, and Brittany Martin; great-grandchildren, Harlee Thomason, Jacie Thomason, Makinleigh Runion, Tate Runion, and Henry Runion; brother, Johnny Jordan; and sister Mary Ledford. Billy was a simple kindhearted man who would do anything for anyone. He loved woodworking and building, fishing, rabbit hunting, baseball, the Braves, and working in his vegetable garden. He took a lot of pride in his lawn and his work. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and loved his grandkids and his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Jordan Runion and Griffin Padgett officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the church. Serving pallbearers will be Greg Brown, Joseph Agan, Jody Agan, Justin Thomason, Noah Leachman, and Jordan Runion. Honorary Bearers will be Harlee Thomason, Jacie Thomason, Makinleigh Runion, Tate Runion, and Henry Runion.
