Graveside services for Brenda Jumper Frye, 81, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Mortar Fund, 1220 Cedar Grove Rd., Leesville SC 29070 or to All Seasons Hospice, 7142 Woodrow St., Irmo SC 29063. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Frye passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. Born in Gilbert, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Wilford and Essie Mae Oswald Jumper. She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, several camping clubs and retired from Carolina Eastman in the Security Services Dept.

Surviving are her children A. Alan Frye (Josephine “JoJo”) and Terri Frye Fulmer; sister, Veta Bedenbaugh; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, A. Atwood Frye, brothers, Olin, Oswald, Bobby and Wilford Jumper, and sisters, Bernelle Shumpert, Helen Skipper, Patricia Jumper, Evelyn Harmon, and Ruby Acuff.
